Sorry for the break in transmission folks, but we've had more important matters to attend to here, like watching those returning cell counts. And yes, the good news is that those little devils are back and doing their thing by increasing daily. Not a total transformation by any means but very good news and progress indeed.The mouth sorenesss is improving slowly but the lizard skin is still red, flakey and itchy. Bev hasn't been blogging because the new pain meds dilate her pupils and make reading difficult. But never mind that they sure do take the edge off!
Matt arrived back in town yesterday with the divine diva (Mariah Carey) for a show at the Garden and came here for several hours, a tonic for all of us.
Tom is away in Conn. for the day on some training so I got to sample the hospitality here at MSKCC overnight. And by the way, I don't know what the complaints are about the bed. I was fine! Sorry Tom.

sean the mad editor sends his love, as does the equally mad alli, both of whom I saw this week, plus the hot hals and the gang at cbs. the apt closing has been a nightmare but it's finally set for fri, so when you're out you will have a lovely nyc view with your stem cell boosting cocktails I've been concocting in anticipation of your return.
take care of those cells, and my dad asks if they are giving you this honey tonic for the tongue (but take this note with care, he's a pharmacist who thinks he's a dr)

Terrific to hear that the good cells are multiplying as expected. Today is day 12, yes? I'm hoping and that the doctors are still considering paroling you sometime after the 27th. Hang in there until then...

i'm thinking of you bev! it sounds like things are moving forward day by day. i'll be home in two weeks and can't wait to see you. hopefully by then you'll be out of that hellhole and lounging with a cocktail. otherwise i'll have to come sneak one to you.

It is great that your parents are there and able to take care of you while Tom is out of town. What a blessing.
