Hello again to Bev's readership. Just to let everyone know, she's still not up to writing herself but knows you're all thinking of her and anxious for news. This 'adventure' is proving harder than she thought but she does now feel that improvement is slowly occurring. As for a home date, we still don't have one but daily counts continue to rise and all medical opinion seems to be that all is 'normal'. And they should know!! The hope now is that middle or end of next week she'll be the 'homecoming queen' but we'll keep you posted.
Now that Bev is sleeping more peacefully and for longer periods, we whisked Tom away last night for a meal at a nice French bistro nearby for mussels in a mustard sauce and a nice crisp muscadet. (Typing this in the hope it stimulates Bev's appetite.)
We continue to come daily and I even rode the subway for the first time in years today. Those of you familiar with my clautrophobia will know what an achievement this is - however it was directly related to yesterday's two-hour bus ride.
So folks, keep those good thoughts and prayers coming and we'll let you know dates as soon as we have them.
PS Hope you had a good time at the spa Jenny.

hi sweetie, sorry it's been such a long haul, but with so many people pulling for you and now that your using your terrific powers focused on yourself rather than the fab 5 I'm sure you'll be home around labor day. Then you can spend the beautiful fall swanning around your backyard being catered to by all the friends who missed you all late summer!
We're in the glorious new digs, watching all the nyc lights, the bananas are thrilled, there are halls to run down and room for all the toys and while Nik is confused he seems happy and Anth is ecstatic.
Please feel good, and sweet dreams, love to the family too... xl
yikes, sorry for hideous grammar, it's been a very long week. xl
Glad to hear that sleep is more peaceful and coming in longer doses! I hope that allows for those counts to keep on multiplying! :) We need higher counts........
So sorry that you are going through all of this- but glad to know that it is 'normal' - whatever the heck the docs think that is?!?!??!
WE are SO looking forward to you being well enough to post on your own. And even more excited for you to enjoy your hubby and dog in your very own home!
Still praying....
Tracy & family
As you know your Mother and I fly in on a Virgin on Thursday next. I can be there each morning earlier if you can order the new York Times for me to be delivered each morning and put it on your insurance bill. Last year- as I recall- my tipple in the relatives' room was half and half cranberry juice and soda. Make sure you've laid in plenty !
Love ya!
The Dad
